Tib is awesome and I might want to be like here when I grow up (minus that gym/running thing... not into that so much), and she posted this, so I thought I'd play along, too.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?

I worked TWO jobs! Also, one job lasted 7 months and I'm not usually around long enough for a job to go on that long.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't make resolutions, but I shared Chilly's theme last year ("All is Woe"), and that seemed to work out pretty well for us. This year's theme is Living for Excitement (paraphrased, I said it differently when she first decided that was the theme), but I haven't decided if I will share it again or not. I may have to take up the company theme (something about Celebrating) out of obligation for my workplace, but we'll see.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

My Rochelle did, but she was 260-ish miles away at the time.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

In 2008? Umm... I don't remember going to any funerals this year.

5. What countries did you visit?

The United States of America. Also, a whole lot of other countries (in Epcot)

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

Clean roommates.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

March 2, but I won't tell you why.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I lived through 2 semesters of school.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Oh, probably Biology.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

There was a lot of illness, yes.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

My beautiful, beautiful baby.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Ermm...

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

We don't talk about other people like that.

14. Where did most of your money go?

My camera

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

My upcoming internship and also my Love Duck getting back! I need to call her today, too.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

I don't think I have one in particular.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

a) happier or sadder? Not quite as happy
b) thinner or fatter? About the same, I think
c) richer or poorer? A little richer, actually. But not by much.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?

Saving.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?

Spending money

20. How did you spend Christmas?

At home with the fam.

21. Did you fall in love in 2008?

Yes. With Drawly. He's adorable.

22. What was your favorite TV program?

I am really not a TV person. Monk is always a favorite, though, and I recently discovered NCIS, but I don't watch either one of them much.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

Nope.

24. What was the best book you read?

I read too many books. I can't keep track of which ones I read when.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Did I have one of those? I don't think so.

26. What did you want and get?

My camera, my cat, a tripod, and the Whole McGillicuddy.

27. What did you want and not get?

All the outrageously expensive things, mostly. But I did by the flatware off of my Anthropologie wish list the other night.

28. What was your favorite film of this year?

I think Wall-e wins out this year.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I was the same age I am right now (well, a few months younger). Mom and Dad came up and spent the morning with me and then I went to work.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Oh, I don't know. Disney makes up for a lot of it.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?

Umm.. It's just very... Me, I guess.

32. What kept you sane?

Drawly?

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Johnny Depp. Like always.

34. What political issue stirred you the most?

I don't get involved in politics much.

35. Who did you miss?

My Love Duck. But now she is back!

36. Who was the best new person you met?

All those fun co-workery people.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.

I don't know that any life lessons I learned were exactly accurate.

38. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

Can't actually think of any, sorry.
