Warning: Ambien-induced Blog Ahead

So I went into the bathroom to start getting ready for bed, but then I thought, "There is no way I am sleeping tonight after having taken a 3 hour nap earlier today." So then I left the bathroom, took my Ambien, and saw some catalogs on the kitchen table. Picked them up, started shuffling through them... Weeeeiiird things started happening. I could swear that I heard the peoples in the pictures on the pages talking to the other peoples in the pictures on the page about their product that they were being the advertisement for, but I couldn't understand them. And then I tried to read the words next to one of the people, but it wasn't making any sense because I kept trying to listen to her and still read, and we all know that you can't read and listen at the same time and expect a great outcome! And then I turned my head to ask dad to read the words to me and the room kind of went for a woop-de-lOOp!, and thinking back on it, I think I was still so distracted from the recent ride I went for that the comprehending of the words just has not quite yet caught me up. And standing up, I feel like the world is in SLOOW motion, but my movements are really not. It's like WOAH! Hi, wall. Didn't realize you were so close *smack*. Woah! Mirror there, used to be further away. *smudge*

And now my words are all dancing on the screen, so I think that's a good time to call it quits and hope that some of this is legible.

Descartes, Voltaire, and a Potato

Last week, I worked approximately 50 hours (give or take a few), and therefore barely even turned my computer on. What does this mean to you? Well, for my fellow blogging buddies, it means that I have had 200+ blogs to catch up on at one point, and I'm going by folder in my google reader. So if you're blog isn't in one of the folders I've been "clearing out" and you've updated it, chances are I haven't read it. Sorry. I'll get to it. Eventually. And, for those of you who do not blog but still remain a part of my cult-like following, it means... well, probably not much since I've become an inherently bad blogger, anyway, and hardly ever update as it is.

Anyway, this post- this one Right Here that you are reading Right Now- is just a little something to tide you over and to let you all know that I'm ALIVE. (P.S. Kaiyo, Fefe, I will get to those pictures and maybe email them to you before Christmas. This is my life right now and computers do not take priority.)

1.What's your current obsession?
I've been watching a lot of Taiwanese Dramas online lately. And when I say lately, I mean when I'm not working or sleeping. So, really, mostly I've been working and sleeping. Oh, and challenging people to Mario Kart.

2.What's your zodiacal sign? Do you identify with it?
As there is no specification to WHICH zodiac exactly we are talking about here.... Allow me to refer you to Humorscope:

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
You will have an intellectual discussion with a potato, soon. You'll be so caught up in whether it was Descartes or Voltaire who first advocated empiricism, that it will fail to strike you as a bit odd that the potato knows much of anything about 17th-century French philosophers. In fact, it knows more about them than you do. Later, that will irritate you.

And it probably will irritate me, later, if I actually do have a conversation with a potato any time soon. Also, I know nothing about 17th-century French philosophers.

3.What are you wearing today?
I wore a black and white skirt and a blue-ish colored, short-sleeved sweater. And black shoes.

4.What's the last thing you purchased?
Up! on DVD, but I just remembered how today is Tuesday and I think another movie I want was released on DVD today. Hmm. Oh, well.

5.What do you think about the person who blog I took this from?
I don't know how to answer questions like these when I've never actually met the person and I suspect they've read more of my writing (hello, Board) than I will ever have read of theirs. Umm.. Hi! You're awesome?

6.What's for dinner?
Mom made Hawaiian Chicken. And speaking of Hawaiian's, Kaiyo and Fefe, there's an episode of NCIS in which a character pronounces "Italian" the same way I do. So phbllllt!

7.What's your favorite decade?
This one.

8.What are your summer must haves?
Ice cream.

9.What would you love to do?
Go to Japan and Taiwan, and, actually, for the first time Ever I want to go to London, too, to see "Love Never Dies" or whatever it's called.

10. What's your favorite item from your wardrobe?
pajamas.

11.What's your dream job?
If I knew that, planning my future would be way a lot easier.

12.What's your favorite magazine?
National Geographic (shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-ocking)

13.What's the biggest fashion faux pas?
I hear it's socks with sandals, but I don't really know.

14.Describe your style.
Awesome.

15.Favorite Beatle?
John Lennon was a Beetle, right?

16.What are your proud of?
I've finally started to cross things off my "Bucket List" (work at Disneyland, skydiving...)

So, like, we're almost done painting my house (and by "we" I mean Dad because he's AWESOME). What does this mean? It means Wednesday (hopefully!) I get carpet and pergo and vinyl and all that other kind of floor-stuff that people put in their houses. And THEN I think I get kitchen (and bathroom) cabinets, and THEN I get to move in! Hooray! So, moral of the story, soon I will post updated pictures and you will ALL BE AMAZED. So get a few nights good rest because pretty soon you will not be able to sleep EVER AGAIN because you will have the awesomeness of my house imprinted on the back of your eyelids.

Oh yeah. Happy belated Halloween, yo.
