I've got like a million thoughts running through my head right now, only I've assigned myself a Very Strict Bedtime, so I don't know if I've got time to write them all down! This is so hard.
First. Today was my first day of school (for my own education) in 2+ years. It felt totally weird, but I'm actually
excited to be learning again.
Second, I've completed my first assignment of the semester, and it's not even due until Wednesday! See, Dad! I don't always procrastinate!
Third, I am a teacher assistant again at the same elementary school as last year. Today I got to be impromptu teacher for about 10-15 minutes because a small child had a rather... messy accident that required massive amounts of cleaning to child, child's clothes (probably a complete change of clothes), and the chair that child was sitting in. Sad for child, but somewhat awesome to me because it reminded me of AK funtimes in Taiwan!
Fourth, I've decided that Chinese is the most beautiful written language in the entire world and I am super excited and grateful for this opportunity to once again try to improve my skills. Third time's the charm, right?
