Shopping for antiques in Cougar Town is like shopping for a rip-off. Consignment stores in Santa Horhe offer actual
deals, where as here all you find is high priced items that can be found in better condition off of ebay. This I discovered last week as Love Duck and I browsed the two shops on Center Street (where parking is demonic and no one lets you back out. Not to mention that 15 mph really isn't my cup of tea).
And then, shoved into a small display case over stuffed with junk, I saw it. The Thing I Had to Have. The Josef figurine. I recognized it immediately. My mother owns two of them (the September birthstone one as well as a girl wearing a yellow dress, which is actually a bell), and I used to play with them when I was little.
Soon it shall be mine. Mother tried to surprise me by bidding for it on ebay, but when I became potential competition, she told me.
