Five years ago this morning I was sitting in first period- Journalism. School had just started when a classmate walked in late with a portable radio and told us all what had just happened. I remember every detail, yet it's all a blur. I was shocked, devastated, in a state of unbelief. Class was basically cancelled and most of the student population just sat in front of the television all day. Then, when I got home, I turned on the TV and watched it played over and over again- people crying, screaming, jumping out of windows. Heroes that gave their lives and heroes that lived to see another day.

Jack Bauer died today. He swam over the edge and was washed down the drain. I mourn for him, too, but welcome Jack Jr. into the Circle of Fish. (I'm not even joking about this. I am sad! And so is Chant, he just doesn't know it.)
