So I went to the airport last night to meet my cousin off his plane from Mexico. Haha. I think he thought his parents had brought him someone to date or something because he clearly had no idea who I was. He shook my hand and his dad goes, "Well, give her a hug!" so he did, but it was a really awkward hug. And I laughed to myself. As we're standing at baggage claim waiting for his luggage to roll around, he kept staring at me. I'd smile at him and he'd kind of give me this goofy grin. Then we're walking to the parking lot to leave and I saw the light bulb go on in his head. It was so hilarious!
"So... Did you recognize me?" I asked.
"No. You look so different; you've changed a lot! I couldn't figure out who you were!" said he.
Ah, good times. Welcome home, Tut. You have been missed.
Happy Returns Part 2 will take place August 8th, assuming I can make it up to the airport to join the crowd, anyway.
Always remember: wherever you go, there you are!
