I don't know if you've noticed, but the end of summer is nigh at hand. It's kind of a bit of a bummer (I'll be honest here, though, I am looking forward to getting my routine back). I'm also finding that work is rather getting in the way of actually enjoying my summer vacation. Below you will find a short list of things I would like to accomplish (in no particular order) before September 4th (preferably before August 30, which is the day I am scheduled to move).
- Go to the beach
- Go to Hawaii
- Buy a season pass to the local water park and have someone go with me at least twice
- Meet Elder Appleseed at the airport
- Attend Tut's Sacrament talk
- Go shopping with my Gram
- Figure out how to cope with life
- Be Freed from Limbo
- Hike to Timp Caves
- Hike Bridal Veil again
- Work on my Portfolio
- Visit My K in Texas
- Read Harry Potter
- Read Eclipse (yes, yes, Edgy. I know you haven't enjoyed the first two of the series, for which I pity you.)
- Purchase an Airline's t-shirt and maybe some other paraphernalia in remembrance of my brief period of employment there
- Find a new job for Fall semester
I'm open to other suggestions. However, one must realize that 10 days of my time are already occupied by a journey back east to visit my dad's parents. So, that sort of cuts into things a bit, doesn't it? Something tells me that I won't be able to do everything I want before my summer is over.
Always remember: wherever you go, there you are!
