Sleep Talking

Today we learned that The Boy and I have something else in common: we both talk in our sleep.

A few months ago I was sleeping on the couch in the living room, and I guess one of my roommates started talking to me and I was responding. When I woke up, I had no memory of this exchange, so it was decided that I must have been sleep talking. I have also been notified by my sister a time or two that I sometimes talk in my sleep. But, hey, I'm sleeping, yeah? So I can't help it.

Well, so The Boy and I are on our way to Santa Horhe this afternoon and he fell asleep (I was driving, so it was safe, don't worry). He opens his eyes after about an hour or so, looks at me, and says, really confusedly, "Where are we going?"
"What?"
"Where are we going?"
"Huh?"
"Where are we going mumblemumble."
"Uhh... Santa Horhe?"
"Are we driving straight through?"
"... Yeah....?"
"OK." And then he rolled over and went back to sleep.

There was another instance where he said something about the tail lights of the car next to us, only there was no car next to us and I couldn't understand anything he said except for "that car" and "tail lights."

Then we arrived in Santa Horhe and it was noticed that Mom bought a Wii! Sweet action! We played with the fam for a few hours and had a blast. I keep beating The Boy at one of the bowling thingies (not the actual game of bowling, but that one where it adds a new row of pins to the back each time, you know?), but I'm pretty sure I came in last at every other game we played. We didn't make it as far as the cow racing tonight, but we will. Don't you worry, we will. And I will win.

Tomorrow (which, I guess, is technically today) will be full of funandgames including things like: lunch at Iggies, Nielsen's Frozen Custard, Walmart/Polygamist scouting (he's never seen one before), hiking, swimming, wii-ing, and maybe more (like the "mall" or Enchanted if it is at the dollar theater, or miniature golfing....).

You can maybe expect pictures to be posted in various more secure locations within the next week. This is assuming I remember to take my camera out of my back and with us to whatever places we go.
