Today I am very domestic. And it's not even noon yet!
First, my belt-loop ("Might not live, might not live!"): It snapped at the top while we were in Florida and I was kind of annoyed by it, but didn't bother to fix it. Instead I just wore my other pants. Well, I didn't
want to wear any of my other pants today, I wanted to wear the ones with the broken belt-loop. So I finally got my sewing machine out and fixed it.
Second, my anklet: I bought it in Morocco, and on Sunday it snagged on the couch (don't ask me how something can snag on leather, I don't know, it just did), and broke. And I was sad. And I tried to fix it then, but my hands were too shaky (maybe had something to do with the fact that I hadn't eaten because it was fast Sunday and dinner was still in the oven). Well, I decided that, while I was being a domestic person, I might as well try to fix it again, and I did! Go me. I'm awesome.
