A month ago today I moved to California. Hard to believe it has already been 30 days! Yesterday I had my 30-45 day interview/review thing. It was kind of awesome. Mostly because they were sending me home early on account of rain. That part was awesome.
Also, as you know, NCIS arrived for me yesterday. That was really awesome of it. (I've already watched 9 episodes. Pathetic? Probably.)
Then this morning there was supposed to be this whole working thing at 9, which meant leaving at 8, which meant waking up just before 7. So I did (wake up, that is), and put my face on and all that, but then I looked outside and I'm like, "Oh. It's very wet out there. I bet I can go back to sleep and be paid for it!" And sure enough. One phone call later I was nestled back under my blankets and being paid for 4 more hours of sleep. (For the record, I did actually sleep all four hours.)
So, yeah. Life is good. I have an awesome farmer's tan and I get to hang out with hilarious people all day. Can't beat that!
