Finally, the long awaited promised and final installment of my trip to the Back East. Watkins Glen! Mostly I'm just going to share the pictures, but there may be one or two commentaries.
This bride was wearing wicked high-heeled white boots. I imagine they were nto quite so white after the photo-shoot.
Aww. It loves you! (Which, consequently, seems to be the theme of General Conference today.)(Natural heart-shaped crevice)
Berries!
I think this centimeter is the cousin to the centimeter at Letchworth State Park.
More berries (I told you I discovered how fun they are to photograph)
This photo is also found in both versions of my calender that are for sale.
This is the unexpected cemetery we found. It was getting late, though, so I wasn't able to take very many pictures. Especially since we still had to hike all the way back to the car.
The guy buried under the gravestone on the far left was born in the 1700s.
And then there was the Woman's Comfort Station. Which, I tell you what, was maybe not so clean but it did provide some MUCH needed comfort (thanks, Dad, for not stopping at that ice cream shop 20 miles back.)
