Well, I guess when the business is slow, that is the best time to be training. But when you're standing around the store with nothing to do for TWO AND A HALF HOURS, that is a little bit ridiculous. I think all the associates, myself included, will be glad when we move back over to our own building.
Did I ever actually blog that I got a job? I don't remember! Well, in case a didn't (and if I did, here is a recap), I finally got a job. I started training last week and today I got to train on the cash register. Congratulations, self, I can now swipe everyone's credit cards (to complete the transaction- not steal them).
Also, as we were leaving the store tonight, doing all the closing stuff you know? We could hear this water dripping in the bathroom. Go in there, and, oh look. The sink faucet has been running for how long? Yea flooded bathroom! And THEN we found a teeny, tiny lizard that we were calling a gecko (not likely, in Utah), and named him Charlie. One of my co-workers caught him and was taking him home for her small daughter to have as a pet. He was a cute little bugger and I kind of wish I had gotten a picture of him, but I am not as awesome as Chillylint and I do not carry my camera(s) with me everywhere I go.
