Road Trip day 5; The Return

Once upon a time, the Road Trip had to come to an end. We were all sad about this, because none of us wanted to return to work just yet (and so I called out 2 days in a row. Go me!).

First there was saying goodbye to Mom, Dad, and Drawly. And then Drawly ripped a hole in my shirt, so I had to put on another shirt. I felt like I was playing Chilly's "Challenge the Outfit" game, because I wouldn't normally pair green with black, but, well. There was little choice.

First stop: Lost Wages! I mean Las Vegas! I actually despise Vegas with nearly every fiber of my being, but since Kyle and Felix put up with me wanting to see the Joseph Smith movie, I consented to stopping with them in Sin City. How Ironic.

When they discovered I'd never eaten at In 'n Out before, we had to stop there for lunch. The picture above is me trying to drink my chocolate shake.

Here are my thoughts on In 'n Out. I still don't see what's so fabulous about them. The burger wasn't extremely greasy like most fast food burgers, but it was also a little flavorless (let's not talk about how I don't like anything on my burger). Dad, your hambiggers win out big. Moral of the story: I will not go out of my way to eat there again, but I won't avoid it, either.

After eating, we went down the Strip for some... I don't know. Sight-seeing?

And here is an interesting sight I saw in Urban Outfitters. I'd tell you the story behind it, but... It's better this way.
We also stopped at the giant M&M store. For being a giant M&M store, you'd think they'd have peanut butter M&Ms, right? But, no. M&M FAIL!

Shortly thereafter, it was back on the road. Poor little me was tired, so we pulled over and I switched places with Kyle. Thankfully, he did not crash my car OR get a speeding ticket, so all was good.
And then we learned that Felix took a picture of me sleeping. I didn't wake up until we got to Corona! This is how tired I was.
