Today, my blog turns 6. Yup, I've been an avid blogger for 6 whole years now! Incredible how time flies.
Speaking about how time flies, in approximately one month from now, I'll be back home. Probably fighting jet lag.

Just to be clear, the majority of these ideas I did not come up with, but rather found them on various other websites/blogs. I wish I would have remembered to grab a link to the sources, but I didn't. Sorry. Umm.. (By the way, hovering your cursor over the picture makes the words more... legible. Sorry about the weird format.)
Anyway. I've been at a loss for things to blog about for... quite some time now. You may have noticed by the apparent lack of blog updates. They just don't happen all that often, do they! So, in my quest to get writing again (I'm really wanting to actually WRITE write, not just blog), I've decided to keep handy a list of topics that I might blog about. Get the brain going, you know? Feel free to use this list at your leisure. I'd love to read your responses to any/all of the items on it! It's fun to see how different people think.
In the meantime, be on the lookout for me hopefully actually using this list and updating my blog periodically. Preferably more than just once or twice a month, as has seemed to be my average as of late.
(Oh, but P.S. I probably won't blog any more this week. We're driving up to the North Country tomorrow after I get off of work because my cousin is getting married Saturday morning. And then, basically right after the wedding, we are driving back home so that I may close at work. But let's not talk about work right now, because it makes me want to cry. When the mess is sorted/more manageable, then perhaps I will blog the sob story/nightmare that has been controlling a great portion of my life since Tuesday.)

So, I've recently been commissioned to do, what I consider, a moderately huge project. You can see part 1 of 7 on my other blog, as well as a few new photos I have taken, etc. etc. (

Sometime in the near-ish future I want to go to the Newport Beach temple grounds and take pictures there. I've only ever seen the temple from the freeway, but it's gorgeous. Also, I want to go to the San Diego temple grounds again, because I haven't been there in several years. Only that is a longer drive and will probably have to wait until I go to Sea World. Which I don't know when that will be. Something about having Days Off and Money to Spend and People to Go With (I would feel lame-faced to go to Sea World by myself).
Also, even though I already spend 5/7 days a week in the Parks, I kind of have this pressing desire to go and take pictures around there before the pink blossoms at Partners go away. I kind of feel lame-faced doing that alone, too, even though I shouldn't since I practically live there. I don't know that picture-taking adventure will ever happen, though. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.
And one more also: I think I'm getting carpel tunnel, because my wrists hurt. That's all.

I am currently getting a dang awesome discount off merchandise at my place of employment. If you've been following my blog for any length of time, this should mean something to you. Anyway, yesterday my roommate and I went around and shopped the parks and spent a load of money (but much less than we would have spent without this discount!). For the moment, I am pretty well satisfied with my purchases and there's not much else that I want for myself. However, this dang awesome discount made me wonder if now might not be the perfect time for a blog giveaway! I'm not totally convinced, though, so it is up to you readers to convince me by the 20th. Ready, and go. And if I'm not convinced by that date, there will be no giveaway in the near future.

My sister met... who is it... Obert Skye? She's so excited about it but upset that I didn't want him to sign one of the books to me. Sorry, sister. I prefer the plot in my books to not be quite so... convenient. And, hey, more for you, right?
On another note, I've been snarfing down salt water taffy's all day today.
And on yet another note, sometimes (and no offense meant by this) I wish my blog were still unknown to real-life people. It's weird how there are some things that you are totally OK with total strangers reading but as soon as someone you know finds out about It, you wish you'd never mentioned it to anyone.
