Meanwhile, I have
finally acquired an appointment with the dermatologist next week for my eyelid condition. Hooray?

The lady who cuts my hair also loves my hair. She styles it (for free!) every time I go in. This time she decided to try curly (which is MUCH better than "the poof" she gave me last time. I was so embarrassed.). Granted, this was a few days ago. So now my hair is back to being plain ol' boring.

You should all know I love these things by now. I don't know, there's just something exciting about divulging my deepest secrets (or possibly shallow secrets) with the blogosphere. Anyway, If you
Ask it shall be Answered.
1. I don't know. Would
you like to ride with Batman?
I don't think so. He seems like a bit of a show-off to me. Plus, I don't get into cars with strangers.
2. I'm just curious, but, maybe, um, do you maybe have a hard time remembering that you are wherever you go?
Yes, yes I do. Sometimes I think I leave part of myself somewhere else and it takes a while for Part to catch up. Especially when I'm daydreaming or what have you.
3. Is better to be born in a 30-day month, a 31-day month, or February? Why?
Well, generally I'd be inclined to say a 30-day month because it's an even number and divisible by 10, but having been born in a 31-day month I feel a little obligated by it. I mean, I could have been born 3 days late instead of 10 days early and been born in a 30-day month. But I wasn't. And I like my birthday where it is, thank you.
4. Good news! The U.S. Olympic Committee has accepted you as a team helper! Which sport did you apply to help with?
Wow! Really? Me? They chose me? Cool! I could be the most awesome Figure Skating helper. (Except that I can't skate for the life of me, but that's not the point. However, you did just remind me of someone that can skate whom I wouldn't mind going skating with...)
5. America is going to be 300 years old in only 69 years! How are you planning to celebrate?
Woah. I'll probably still be alive, too. Weird. I guess there's no time like the present to plan for the future, eh? Umm... I think I'll celebrate by being healthy, having my own teeth intact, and eating lots of cake and ice-cream. And maybe, if I'm rich, I'll give $300 to each of my 300 grandchildren.
Want to play? Drop me a line and I'll give you five questions all your own.

I just realized (at 10 pm) that I forgot two important things today:
1. To eat dinner
2. To go to the grocery store to buy water and milk.
Oh, well. It's not the first time and it's certainly not the last. I blame it all on my irritability (which is at an all-time high for the week).

BYU's new webpage annoys me. It annoys me because it does not automatically adjust to fit my browser window. I think it should do this. Blogger does. Google does. Hotmail does. Why doesn't BYU?
P.S. I've been either burning cold or freezing hot all day. Go figure. I think Face's disease has mutated within me.

Hello. It's me. Outside it is snowing. Inside I have "a smidge of temperature" (that's from
It's a Wonderful Life, if you didn't know). But our heater works again and my dinner is beginning to smell scrumptious. I love beef. It's what's for dinner.
My fish wanted you to see how gorgeous he is. That is all.
I must now leave to go get my Ecclesiastical Endorsement should I for reals decided not to drop out of school.

I accepted
Master Fob's challenge just now and figure I better get on with it before I forget. We all know how tragic that would be. Plus, since I just composed a list of 100+ items (minus six lies) of "interesting" (I say "interesting" because you may or may not agree) facts about myself, this is more of a challenge than it would normally be. Here goes.
- I am currently comprising a list of phobias and fears (in order) much like Monk's. Because I can.
- I love to count. I count my Eeyores, Manatees, Precious Moments stuff, movies, books, lamps, pillows, blankets, plants, and innumerable (pun not intended, but it is funny) other things on a daily basis.
- I do not have pierced ears and never will have pierced ears for as long as my body is in any form of existence.
- As a small child waiting for the school bus (this would have been about... First or Second grade) I had a bee climb up my nose.
- I remember the exact shirt I was wearing the first time I went on Splash Mountain. It was white with little pastel stars on it.
- One of my first memories was when I was about 1 or 2 years old. My family and all of my cousins had gone to my great-grandma's house. I can remember sitting on the rag rugs.
I hereby extend the challenge to any who are brave enough to take it upon themselves. Please notify me of your acceptance.
Always remember: wherever you go, there you are!

Sometimes I pretend that I am really cool. Actually, it's more that I like to think to myself that I am. And then I remember that in sixth grade my favorite thing to wear was spandex (ie: knit pants/shorts), my favorite game consisted of pretending to be an alien and hiding sticks in a tree for my friend to find, and then walking around said tree until break was over.
Yeah, I must have been pretty cool back then. Too bad my life now consists of school, work, and, oh yeah, school. I can hardly wait to spice things up by learning to belly dance with My K.

In recent days I have come to understand why so many single females (especially those attending the Y) feel ancient and old. It comes from looking around and seeing so many girls YOUNGER than you are getting married/dating seriously/seriously have someone interested in them (at least a little) and you are totally single (which isn't so bad, really, despite what some may think) and not even that old (I mean, let's be honest here. There is NO WAY any company is going to let me rent a car from them. At least not for a while.)
I've also recently come to the conclusion that the guys in my high school really weren't that bad. Too bad I was so intent on getting that 4.0 and too bad I am so intimidating. Still, there is hope. Especially now that so many of them are coming home.
Oh yeah. That's another thing that makes me feel old: when I look at all the missionaries and it dawns on me, "Dood, [Katria]. Every single one of these elders is younger than you. Freaky."

My title for this post is totally not true. In fact, it's a flat out lie. Yes, I am officially declaring myself addicted to
the Board and there is nothing I can do about it. Except maybe apply to be a writer, but that will only feed my addiction.
Almost I purchased Second Hand Lions today, but Prince of Egypt took precedence because my parents own SHL. Maybe Friday when I've been paid my 130-something dolla's.
And I just want you all to know that 10 degrees is nothing close to the 20 degree high we were supposedly going to have today. And, being that I work all day tomorrow and will have the need to wear open-toed high heels, I expect to have frost-bitten toes by the time I reach my place of dwelling in the evening.
Only 5 more days of One Stop and I only have to work 4 of them, a grand total of 20 hours. Fear not, though. The paychecks will keep coming and get substantially larger next week after labs start. There shall be shoutings of great joy in my savings account once more.

So much for my medication making me tired. Instead I've been wide awake the past two nights until well past midnight and exhausted in the afternoon. I actually took a sleeping pill tonight to see if that will help.
My opal ring is currently in the shop and I feel lost without it. Somehow it got rather bent out of shape, so I figured it's about time to get it fixed. While I was at the jeweler's, though, I decided that working in a place like that would totally rock (harharhar). I've actually thought this before, but it just reoccurred to me today. This may or may not be my new back-up plan to photography (which, by the way, I could
still use some help on).
Right, well, I'm going to go read some
Soul Music and hope it lulls me to sleep.
