I hope your heart wasn't too terribly broken when I didn't blog on Wednesday (we all knew that would happen, didn't we? I did, anyway). My non blogging was due to the fact that I was either a) slaving away at work all night BY MYSELF and counting loads of boxes that I didn't actually need to count OR b) stuffing my face with ice cream cake. I will let you take your pick (but I'll give you a clue, it wasn't the one that sounds the most enjoyable).

Anyway, since last time I blogged, I am now officially a year older (and some might say "wiser," but I say "Only if you like comments from the Peanut Gallery (as my bishop so accuses me)"). I have had the snarks really bad this week, and I'm afraid some of it might have come out when I was talking to a customer last night (OK. Seriously. You don't come up to me and ask "Which fabric in the women's is like the men's cotton?" and expect me to answer in a way that doesn't make you look stupid.) I have also discovered that exercise can be fun, but only if done while playing Wii Fit (plus! Drawly even gets to "play!"). And I have planned a brief road trip with the Mom, in which we will drive to California, spend approximately 2 days there, and drive back in time for me to be at work on Tuesday. Guys, I am so excited. There will be Traditional Trifecta Fun Times, and Disneyland, and and and Not Being in Utah (not that I have anything against Utah, I just need to get OUT a lot). This plan goes into action tomorrow morning, so that we may make it to Anaheim in time for me to go to church at my old Branch, which I love and miss dearly. (I hope linger longer is especially delicious, because I am seriously looking forward to that, too.)

1.  Where were you five years ago?

Five years ago I was... Oh. At home, still recovering from having my wisdom teethies removed (which removal actually took place on the 5th of May, but I basically couldn't open my mouth for like 3 weeks). That was not the most fun experience of my life, and I'm glad that I will never again have to repeat it.

2.  On my to-do list today?

Basically as follows:
Finish getting dressed
Make my bed
Eat some Foods
Clean the House (if I get the energy To Do. Won't be here on my typically cleaning day next week, but I may put it off until Wednesday after work. This seems more likely)
Probably do something about my hair, preferably more than just sticking it in a pony tail, but, again. Time? Energy? Desire to actually look like I put effort into myself today (there is not a whole lot of that going on right now)?
Scripture Study (Ammon just chopped off a bunch of arms yesterday. Still awesome. Meanwhile, right now the king is zonked out as if to be dead, but he's NOT! Yes, I can make the Book of Mormon sound extra exciting. Because it IS.)

Favorite snacks. Hm. Caramel Tim Tams are right at the top of the list right now, but also Grasshopper cookies, and strawberry Mentos, and Konpeito, and twizzlers... OK, basically I just like Sugar and Chocolate. An occasional cheeto is OK, too.

4.  If you were a billionaire you would...
Travel the world and finish my education. Maybe in reverse order, maybe not. Also, I would live in California.

Last week, I worked approximately 50 hours (give or take a few), and therefore barely even turned my computer on. What does this mean to you? Well, for my fellow blogging buddies, it means that I have had 200+ blogs to catch up on at one point, and I'm going by folder in my google reader. I've been watching a lot of Taiwanese Dramas online lately. And when I say lately, I mean when I'm not working or sleeping. So, really, mostly I've been working and sleeping. Oh, and challenging people to Mario Kart.

I know. I haven't blogged in weeks, which makes me a bad person. Sorry. I hope you will forgive me, especially since this isn't even a real blog post tonight. Hopefully sometime very soon I will give you something worth reading about. But not tonight.

I actually hardly ever answer my phone.

Must be someone pretty amazing, because I have texting blocked on my phone.

Maybe darker, but I wouldn't change the color.

I own two! Plus the one in my phone.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?

I worked TWO jobs! Also, one job lasted 7 months and I'm not usually around long enough for a job to go on that long.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't make resolutions, but I shared Chilly's theme last year ("All is Woe"), and that seemed to work out pretty well for us. This year's theme is Living for Excitement (paraphrased, I said it differently when she first decided that was the theme), but I haven't decided if I will share it again or not. I may have to take up the company theme (something about Celebrating) out of obligation for my workplace, but we'll see.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

My Rochelle did, but she was 260-ish miles away at the time.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

In 2008? Umm... I don't remember going to any funerals this year.

5. What countries did you visit?

The United States of America. Also, a whole lot of other countries (in Epcot)

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?

Clean roommates.

You'll have to excuse the title. Dad and I were watching Disney channel the other night and Suite Life of Zack and Cody was on.

Anyway, Chilly is awesome, and anything she does must be cool, so I have to do it, too. (Well, not always. But this time, yes.) Also, Dad is after me for not blogging since the 16th (even though I have not had access to the internet) and I have nothing to blog about until I get my pictures uploaded from my camera (which means charging that battery first), at which time I will have loads to blog about. Mostly how cool my job is going to be in a few short weeks. Also how I will not have to see snow again for the rest of the winter.


1. What is a nickname a former (or present) lover gave you?
I guess I am just not someone to whom individuals stick nicknames to. I can't think of any.

2. How do you style your hair? If you just would say “cut” what style is it? Mostly I don't. I brush it and then put it in a ponytail because I have had no energy for that whole straightening thing lately and I keep going to sleep with wet hair. Of course, once I move to places where it is humid, having straight hair will no longer be an option.

3. What’s your least favorite Christmas song?
I actually really don't like "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" because of that whole "won't go until we get some" part. It seems rude.

4. How many colors are you wearing now?
Like 10? I don't even know. The only lighting in my room right now is that coming from my monitor and the Christmas lights, so it is hard to tell.

5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I am very not an extrovert, but if I feel really, really comfortable around you and trust you, I stop being shy and "let loose." But mostly I am just very reserved.

6. What was the last book you read?
A Terry Pratchett one, but I can't remember which. Right now I am reading "Men at Arms"

7. What’s one piece of fiction that changed your life?
Hmm... I don't actually know, but I have read a lot.

8. If you are attracted to someone who is already in a relationship (or married), what might do you do?
Nothing? That seems like the safest option.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently?
I had to leave my jobs and that was sad. Also, Ali never called me back which meant I didn't get to say goodbye to her, and that was sad, too. Also, I didn't get to say goodbye to Five, either, and that was sad (he hadn't gotten in to work yet by the time I had to leave on Wednesday).

10. What’s your favorite dessert?
I was going to say chocolate, but then I remembered how much I like Dad's ice cream. So peach ice cream, probably. But cookie dough is really good, too.

11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
I generally wake up 2 hours before I have to be completely ready. It used to take me the whole time, but now it does not. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes now.

12. Name one website that you visit daily. Why do you read it?
Google Reader. I like to keep up on things, I guess? It used to be the Board, but I find life is simpler when I am retired.

13. What was your last job before either you are at home or at another job??
Well, before the bindery/TA, it was working for Guest Services and I hated it. I only lasted for about a month. Maybe 2.

14. Do you like to clean?

I'm kind of... bored of my project at work. I mean, I'm almost done, but I'm still bored of it. It is just a boring project (getting a course Independent Study ready). So, short break!

What is your salad dressing of choice? I don't eat salad
What is your favorite sit-down restaurant? Oooh. Hard. Well, if I am in Anaheim, I really really really a lot really like Tiffy's. Otherwise I also really like P.F. Chang's and Shoots. I hear Tucanos is really good, but I've never been. Sad face.
What food could you eat every day for two weeks and not get sick of? Rolls or rice.
What are your pizza toppings of choice? Pineapple, no sauce.
What do you like to put on your toast? butter. Or, if I'm feeling adventurous, peanut butter and strawberry jam.
